Mwezini is designed as an account-first cycle tracker. Logs, settings, exports, deletion, Plus access, sync, and AI all belong to one private account with visible controls.
What Mwezini stores
Cycle settings, daily logs, symptoms, mood, energy, sleep, optional notes, account email, user ID, education reading state, subscription access state, checkout interest, and Care Circle rows when a user chooses those features.
Account-first controls
Mwezini requires sign-in before tracking. Local delete clears browser-stored Mwezini data on that device. Export and restore use a JSON file that stays under your control.
Cloud sync and deletion
If you sign in and sync, Mwezini stores private account rows in Supabase. Delete cloud removes synced logs, settings, checkout interest, and Care Circle rows while local device data can remain available offline.
AI insights
AI summaries are opt-in. Before a request, Mwezini explains that cycle settings, today's date, and up to 30 recent saved logs, including flow, symptoms, mood, energy, sleep, and notes, are sent through Mwezini's server to OpenAI. Mwezini asks permission before sending and does not expose the OpenAI API key in the app.
Third-party processors
Mwezini uses Supabase for account, authentication, and optional sync storage; OpenAI for user-confirmed paid AI insight generation; Stripe for checkout and billing state; and Vercel for hosting, server routes, security, and operational logs. Processors are used for app functionality, not advertising. Mwezini does not sell health data.
Billing and medical note
How Mwezini earns is simple: subscriptions and optional user-chosen services, not selling health data. Stripe handles checkout and billing details; Mwezini stores only the subscription state needed to unlock paid features, including whether a paid plan is in its seven-day trial.
Predictions are estimates for personal planning and are not medical diagnosis, contraception, fertility treatment, or emergency health advice.
How Mwezini earns
Mwezini earns from paid plans and optional user-chosen services. It does not sell identifiable cycle, intimacy, mood, or health data, and it does not use that data for advertising tracking.
